"Quick Dip" is for those who want to make flowers last longer!
I started using Quick Dip after hearing the following story from someone.
I was a florist in the U.S., and the florist was dipping the stems of flowers he bought from the wholesale flower market into some kind of liquid one after the other. So I asked, What is that? so it was a "Duick Dip."
Until then, I had been dipping roses I bought from the flower market in hot water and folding chrysanthemums in water, changing one by one as I went along. Once I started using it, I was amazed at how easy it was. Gerberas work especially well with it, and in winter gerberas can last a month or more.
How to use quick dip recommended for flower life extenders
To use,
1) cut about 2 cm or more of stems
2) simply dip 2 cm or more of stems in quick dip for 1 second
When I brought back a bouquet of flowers from Holland, they had been languishing in my suitcase for over 24 hours. After cutting 2 cm of stems from the bouquet, I dipped them in the Quick Dip and they came alive beautifully.
Since then, I have recommended it to flower-design teachers and to my students.
I have always recommended it to my students and flower-design teachers at flower markets when they ask me, "I can't get roses to water well," "Horsetails are difficult to give water," or "Do you know a good way to make peonys water well?"
Although not a corporate project from Smithers Oasis, the president of Oasis has also appointed me as a "Quick Dip ambassador."
Smithers Oasis Company does not make them in dip pots, so I sell them in pots in my lesson studio. I tell the president about it and he is delighted.
